Yajna, Yan–ja means ‘to move’
The spirit behind this vision is to collectively practice the primitive objective of performing arts, which is more community oriented and created by the people thus for the people.
…a balance of theatre aspirants and those whoever intend to revive cultural gatherings, which once made integrity of social life, but lost the flow in bygone days.
…a state or a space or occasion or opportunity for theatre making or evolving or in hope of happenings.
…a chance, to meet, to observe, to play, to train, to rehearse, and to perform in union.
Cycle Yajna correspondence and identifications between concrete physicality and abstract metaphysics. Material things plants, animals, human life, etc… are participants. Here the individual is impersonalized and becomes only a unit in collective effort.
Sometimes provide reference to duty, sometimes to games, sometimes to wealth, sometimes to peace, sometimes to laugher, sometimes to love, fight and killing etc...
‘Cycle Yajna’ aims transformation of bad to good through the performance, as a result the spectators mind may realise the lack of good qualities which would produce an urge to process them and ultimately lead prosperity of community.
The village ‘Kuruvinatham’ premier host of the ‘Cycle Yajna’, that organised by the theatre aspirant movement ‘Velipadai’.
